Build awareness, shift patterns, and heal from the inside out through growth in the four pillars of mental health: self-awareness, self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-trust.

Reconnect with Yourself

My approach to Therapy

I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with more than 15 years of experience in therapy, education, research, and mentoring.

My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in curiosity. Together, we’ll explore not just your thoughts, but your emotional and nervous system experiences—helping you recognize patterns in real time, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships with yourself and others.

I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic and attachment-based work. I often work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity development, and healing from relational or developmental trauma.

At the core of my work is creating a supportive space where you can explore your experiences without judgment, practice new ways of relating, and move toward a more grounded, authentic version of yourself.

Individual Therapy (60 mins)
$140.00

Individual sessions are designed to help you better understand patterns related to anxiety, relationships, and past experiences. I offer in-person therapy in Charleston, SC and virtual therapy for adults in South Carolina.

How we work together

Couples Therapy (60 mins)
$175.00

These sessions focus on identifying and shifting relational patterns that contribute to conflict, disconnection, or miscommunication. Using a trauma-informed, integrative approach (including attachment-based work, IFS, and ACT), we’ll build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop more effective ways of communicating, repairing, and relating.

Mental Health Coaching (60 mins)
$140.00

Coaching provides a space to slow down, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and intention. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build self-awareness, and practice new ways of responding to challenges in real time. While distinct from therapy, this work is grounded in the same values of curiosity, connection, and meaningful change.

Getting started

How do I schedule a free, initial consultation or my first online session?

You can schedule directly through my online, client portal, by emailing me at fourpillarstherapy@gmail.com, or by completing the form below.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Optum/United Health Group. I provide superbills for those insured out-of-network.

What are your session fees?

i charge $140/60-minute individual therapy or coaching session and $175/60-minute couples therapy session. I do offer sliding scale session fees for those in financial need.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes, all sessions are currently offered virtually. This allows for flexibility and consistency while still creating a meaningful and connected therapeutic experience.

What technology do I need for virtual therapy?

Any computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone will work. I conduct virtual sessions via Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant and easy to access through your browser. Please ensure you are in a quiet, private place for your virtual sessions.

How often will we meet?

Most clients start with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Over time, we may adjust frequency based on your needs and goals.

How long does it take to feel results?

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients come for a shorter period to work through a specific issue, while others stay longer to explore deeper patterns. Many clients begin to feel more grounded and aware within the first few months.

What if I don’t know what to talk about?

That’s completely okay. Part of the work is learning to slow down and notice what’s happening internally. We can start wherever you are, even if that’s simply feeling unsure. Often the most impactful sessions happen when there is no plan for what to discuss.

What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help?

That’s more common than you might think. Different approaches and relationships can lead to very different experiences. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and focus on what hasn’t worked in the past so we can approach things differently.

How is therapy different from coaching?

Therapy focuses on the treatment of mental health conditions and is available to clients located in South Carolina. Coaching is available for out-of-state clients and focuses on personal growth, self-awareness, and skill-building.
